Crypton Tuning Centre Technology is the brand leader in the motor trade. They are classed as the best brand in the Engine Diagnostic and Tuning and Emissions testing with the brand having over 100 years of experience in testing many kinds of engines with different engine sizes.

The Crypton Brand was formed 1890 with the brand name being Newton’s. Newton’s were a business that was set up to manufacture electric motors and also generators.  The company expanded into developing of testing equipment for the motor industry in the 1920s. The owners of the company decided to sell up to Lancashire based Dynamo and Crypto, the new owners wanted to expand their garage equipment interests. The business was then renamed to Crypton.

From the early involvement Crypton Tuning Centre grew to play a prominent role into the shaping of the history of the modern day engine diagnostic equipment.

They soon established themselves as a household name and the Crypton Tuning Centre brand became synonymous with their own testing of engines facilities.

Crypton’s role of engine diagnostics has evolved over the years they have been in business from its own origins in tuning the engines all the way up to the major and minor fault findings, engine diagnostics and what many would say was essential, emission control.

Crypton Tuning Centre has managed to stay at the forefront in the motortrade development for their innovative and high quality needs of the garage market.
